A noun is the naming word for a person, place, or a thing. It is a figure of speech, which can be mainly divided into concrete nouns and abstract nouns. Concrete nouns can be perceived by the five senses, i.e., sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell. These are the objects that exist physically. For example, a ball can be seen, as well as touched. Therefore, it is a concrete noun. Concrete nouns can be common, proper, countable, uncountable, or collective.
