According to (http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=electricity-gap-developing-countries-energy-wood-charcoal) 130 years ago Thomas Edison had created an artificial light to be used for the humanities sake, but there is still one quarter of the world’s population or 1.5 Billion people (mostly on Africa and South Asia) that lacks on electricity despite of other nations that is continuing to grow in terms of technology and electricity like USA and China. Because this nations that lack on electricity still don’t have access on modern fuels like natural gas, kerosene and etc. Instead they are using charcoal and woods that causes pollution and health problems. Researchers are recommending these Nations to switch to more efficient energy for their own health. Some of the people think that this 1.5 billion people without electricity is a good thing because this will lessen the possibility releasing heat trapping gases that will soon cause Global Warming.

Electricity Generation (http://www.ge-flexibility.com/power-generation-basics/how-electricity-is-produced/index.html) Electricity is mostly generated by turbine generators. Mechanical Energy is converted to Electrical Energy from turbine generators through moving steam, water or gas across the blades of the turbine. The turbine is connected to a metal rod in generators that turns the large magnet surrounded by coils of copper wire. The magnet creates a strong magnetic field that lines up with the electrons of copper coils that will soon cause them to move. This is called electricity Thick wires are used to carry the electric current from generators to transformer. When the electricity arrives on its destination it passes through transformers to minimize or to decrease its voltage levels. This is applicable on factories, malls schools and etc. Another smaller transformers decrease the voltage levels to 110-220 volts for safety use on our households Electricity enters a house from a meter that is measuring the amount of electricity the house is using through electricity control panels that controls the distribution of electricity to walls, lights and etc.
Electricity http://global.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/182915/electricity Phenomena associated with the movement of electric charges. A secondary energy which means that it is derived from other energy sources. It involves the electrons which carries a negative charge. It is also a result of the motion of electrons.
